At SoTecIn Factory, the project consortium supports the transformation of supply chains towards a circular economy. CIRCULOOS, the EU-funded project collaborating with SoTecIn Factory, is driving this transition to circular manufacturing by providing small manufacturing companies and other supply chain stakeholders across Europe with digital tools and innovative models for sustainable production optimisation, alongside collaboration and funding opportunities.

What is CIRCULOOS Expression of Interest (EOI)?

CIRCULOOS EOI is designed to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs), and research institutions in adopting circular economy practices (Higher R strategies) like recycling, remanufacturing, and refurbishing. Target industries include, but are not limited, to basic metals, construction, electrical, furniture, automotive, plastics.

Using a case-driven approach, CIRCULOOS is assisting participants in adopting circular strategies based on the digital tools and circular supply chain models, built on the existing collaborations between commercial entities via the project’s Pilots and Open Calls.

What Does the EOI Offer?

The CIRCULOOS EOI is the initial step in a three-phase process, opening the door to funding and scaling opportunities through the project’s Open Calls #2 and #3 in 2025/2026 with following opportunities:

Matchmaking activities: helping participants find compatible partners for Open Calls #2 and #3 via RAMP platform, the existing IOT and marketplace platform for Manufacturing SMEs.
Open Call #2: Up to €60,000 per consortium (2-4 entities), totaling €240,000 for 16 selected consortia over 12 months.
Open Call #3: Invite new participants to contribute to and scale existing circular economy value chains, enhancing sustainability efforts.

Additional matchmaking events and online sessions are supporting collaboration and partnership formation before applying for the Open Calls.

The registration for Interested parties is open on the RAMP platform (https://ramp.eu/#/service-request/list-public), until Open Call 2 starts (March 2025).
