Solution Description

INFINITE, a project developed by VERTLINER, addresses the pressing challenge of early detection and management of common leaf diseases like Plasmopara Viticola in vineyards. Recognizing the drawbacks of conventional pesticide usage, the project leverages cutting-edge technologies to offer a sustainable alternative.

At its core, INFINITE integrates an autonomous Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) equipped with advanced sensors and AI-powered analysis capabilities. This system autonomously navigates vineyards, collecting high-resolution data crucial for disease detection. A Ground Station serves as the central hub for monitoring and controlling the UAS, while an intuitive Cloud Platform processes the collected data using sophisticated AI algorithms.

The ultimate goal of INFINITE is to empower farmers with real-time insights into their crop’s health, enabling proactive management and minimizing the need for pesticides. By facilitating targeted interventions and optimizing resource utilization, the project not only enhances agricultural efficiency but also promotes environmental sustainability. Moreover, by fostering responsible farming practices, INFINITE contributes to the well-being of both farmers and consumers alike, ensuring the continued quality of agricultural products.
